VICTOR BENETH SPEAKS ON BOXING CAREER AND NEXT CHALLENGER.

Light heavy weight boxer, Victor Onwuasoigwe Beneth believes that the future is bright for professional boxing in the country, adding that some of the challenges they experience includes modern training facilities and equipment, financial support and exposure.

He made this assertion recently after his training session at the Sports Council, along Independence Layout.

Speaking exclusively to Power sports correspondent, Beneth, who had a World Boxing Council undercard title fight, recalls one of his experience against a Ghanian opponent, Moses Kwakor, noting that he is aspiring to be one of the best in the history of boxing.

According to him, the prime focus is to win a world title, break records and leave a legacy on the sands of time especially for the upcoming boxers, while also acknowledging that his promotion outfit, for its immense support.

Ahead of his next challenger from Mexico, the boxing sensation who hails from Anambra State, exudes lots of confidence stated that there is nothing to worry about, promising that he will put up a good showing on the night.

However, the Nigeria pugilist who has had 4 victories, 1 draw, 0 lose is scheduled to face off with his Mexican counterpart in what was tagged “home coming” on the 21st of October, 2023, at the International Conference Centre, Awka, Anambra State.
