Rangers Management Cooperation has expressed optimism that with the official launch of its foundation, the firm is determined to change the landscape of football management, social services and responsibilities in the country.
It further revealed that the concept behind the foundation is not just going to be basically Enugu or Southeast oriented but will spread its tentacles to every nook and cranny of the country, thereby giving the people a sense of belonging and direction.
Speaking in an interview with newsmen shortly after the inauguration ceremony, at the firm’s headquarters, along Abakiliki road, Enugu, the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the Cooperation, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, gave a detailed analysis of the vision and projection of the establishment.
Also speaking from the diaspora, Engineer Ben Ejindu congratulated the management the club for such a milestone achievement, adding that never in the history of domestic football space has any club developed or instituted any community based activity that would restore hope and sanity to the individuals especially those from the hinterlands.
In his words, 2013 African Cup of Nations winner, Ejike Uzoenyi (MON), applauded such massive innovations of the club, stating that it will go along way to bring succor to the community.
Other members of the foundation include CSP Ebere Amarizu, as Chairman, Senator Jim Nwobodo, Brigadier Generql Stanley Eze, Dr. Sam Onyishi,,Chairman of the Enugu State Football Association, Barrister Tony Ugwu among others.
