The Board, Mangement and entire staff of Rangers International Cooperation ably led by the Administrative Secretary, Barrister Ferdinard Ugwuarua has reaffirmed its total committment towards the success of Enugu Rangers Football Club in the abridge version of the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.

This disclosure was made known today  during a media parley with members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigera, (SWAN), Enugu Chapter at the club’s secetariat, along Abakiliki road, Government Residential Area, GRA.

According to the Secretay, since the resignation of Amobi Ezeaku as the Team Manager of the club, the management does not have legal backings to decide who takes over the vacant position, rather it is the decision of the state government to make the choice.

Reacting to issue as it concerns the take off grant given to the clubsides in tpreparation for the season by the Interim Management Committee, IMC, the legal luminary confirmed that the state government have been notified that the club has gotten its own share of the money.

On his part, Technical Adviser of Rangers International FC, Abdul Makaiba reiterated that despite the disappiontment of last season’s campaign, their target is to play connntinental football next season but they must first navigate their way through to be one of the top three teams of the group.

 The experienced tactician who had coached Plateau United and Akwa United in the past noted that his side struggled in some games they played last season as a result of the change of venue but he is confident that they will get massive home support from the Awka Township Stadium.

Meanwhile, the 2016 NPFL wimner would be playing in Group B alongside Niger Tornadoes, Rivers United, Doma United and Wikki Tourist. while Lobi Stars, Dakakada FC, Sunshine Stars, Bayelsa United and Abia Warriors FC will also competed for the best three teams in the same group.
