He made this declaration recently during the formal unveiling ceremony of the tactician in Enugu.
According to the club legend, due to the decision taken by the state government, the fortunes of the club have dwindled in the last two season, reiterating that the tactician would get all the support to excel.
Also speaking, National Chairman, Enugu Rangers Supporters Club, Dr. Orji Ilokasi, stated that the gaffer is indeed a household name in domestic football in the country, adding that he is excited about his appointment.
In his words, Captain Uche John, admitted that he is the kind of coach that he will want to work with, promising that will always put in professionalism and diligence at all times.
Responding to the expectations, the former Mountain of Fire and Miracles, Heartland FC and Plateau United, Fidelis Ilechukwu emphasized that the task ahead is indeed a herculean one but surmountable, acknowledging his predecessor what he has being able learn from him.
Meanwhile, the management of Enugu Rangers have released eight players from the squad that played for the club at the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League Season, while the retained players are expected back in camp this weekend for full training sessions.
